Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of the PeakBod app. Using the app means you accept them.
What PeakBod is — and is not
PeakBod estimates how developed each of your muscle groups looks, from photographs you take, and builds a training plan around the gap between where you are now and the physique you are aiming for.
It is not a medical device. It is not medical advice, dietary advice, or health advice, and it does not diagnose anything.
An estimate from a photograph is an estimate. Lighting, posture, angle, distance and camera all change the result — which is why a single scan never lowers your score, and why the app blends the photo with what you have actually trained.
Talk to a doctor before starting any training program. Stop if something hurts.
Using PeakBod sensibly
PeakBod is a wellness tool. It does not replace a coach, a doctor, or anyone else qualified to advise you in person.
The numbers PeakBod shows are an estimate of muscle development, not a judgement of you. They are there to point at what to train next, and nothing else. Scanning more often will not make them move faster — the app is built around a scan roughly every two weeks, and there is nothing to gain from more.
If your relationship with your body or with food is causing you distress, an app is the wrong tool. Please talk to a professional.
No guaranteed results
We do not promise any result. No app can guarantee how your body will change, and PeakBod does not try to.
Your photos and content
Your photos remain yours. By using the scan you give us permission to process them for the single purpose of producing your analysis, as described in the Privacy Policy. That permission covers nothing else, and we do not keep the photos.
Only upload images you have the right to use. For a reference physique, use an image you are entitled to use.
Do not upload photos of anyone who has not agreed to it. Do not upload anything illegal.
Acceptable use
Do not try to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the app or its servers.
PeakBod is for your own body. Do not use it to rate, rank, or comment on anyone else.
Eligibility
PeakBod is for your personal, non-commercial use. By using it, you confirm you can form a binding agreement with us and will provide accurate information.
No account
This version of PeakBod has no accounts and no sign-in. Everything you do stays on your device. You can erase all local data, and the anonymous scan data on our servers, at any time from Settings.
Subscriptions
PeakBod Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold exclusively through Apple’s In-App Purchase, at the price shown to you before you buy — currently $4.99 per week or $12.99 per month in the US. The price, billing period and renewal terms are always shown before purchase.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, and your Apple ID is charged within 24 hours before the period ends, unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before then.
You manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple account settings, not here. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Availability
PeakBod is provided as is. The analysis depends on a third-party model (OpenAI) that is sometimes unavailable. When that happens, the app tells you rather than inventing a result.
We may change or discontinue features.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PeakBod is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any estimate it produces is accurate.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of PeakBod.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Apple
These terms are an agreement between you and the publisher of PeakBod, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
Apple has no obligation to provide any support or maintenance for PeakBod.
If PeakBod fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price if you paid one. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of France, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
